Ian, one of our Certified Technicians, visits America for training

This month Ian, one of our certified technicians, travelled to America to visit the Hydratight-Sweeney factory in Antigo, Wisconsin. While he was there, Ian received further comprehensive training and ‘hands on’ experience in the service and calibration of the whole range of Sweeney multipliers, building upon his existence knowledge. Ian found his visit extremely valuable, particularly with regards to the standards required to obtain ISO 17025. This opportunity also enabled Ian to spend time with our colleagues in the US, fostering and strengthening our relationship.


Since his return, Ian has briefed the rest of the team, improving our knowledge and understanding of current products and the new developments for the future. We would like to thank everyone at the factory in Antigo for their time and hospitality in making this trip such a success.



Private Health Care benefit for all staff

Director, Steve Skinner, unveiled a new private health benefit provided by Axa-pp to commence on the 1st June. Turbine Tools Ltd recognizes the importance of employee welfare and believes this is a positive step in supporting and assisting physical and mental health within the company. The key benefits of this scheme are: a 24/7 online GP service consisting of 20 minutes, in-patient and day-patient care costs, including surgery, specialists’ fees and drugs, and CT, MRI and PET scans after a specialist referral. Staff will be received their welcome packs in the next week or two. We hope this new benefit acknowledges our appreciation of the efforts and dedication of our staff.



Best wishes and a fond farewell to John Clarke

At the end of April, we said goodbye to John Clarke, our Sales Manager, who had been with Turbine Tools for over 12 years. Thank you John for all your hard work and dedication over these years. We wish you every success in the future - you will be very missed.



A year since our relocation

It has been just over a year since our company relocated and expanded to larger premises in Burgess Hill. After months of refurbishment, we are excited to announce that these improvements are nearly finished! Our new facility includes: a staff room, a spacious office, an additional toilet and a meeting room. Below is a picture of our newly decorated front entrance:
